We are deeply committed to outreach programs that serve the
homeless community in Delaware. Our present partnerships are
with the Hope Center, where we dedicate our efforts to provide
support and care for our community. Hope Center: Every Monday,
our team visits Hope Center to serve hot meals, ensuring that
residents receive nutritious and warm food. This regular act of
kindness not only addresses immediate hunger but also offers a
moment of comfort and human connection to those going through
challenging times. Additionally, we organize special dinners for
the residents of Hope Center on significant holidays such as
Christmas, New Year, and Easter. These events are more than just
meals; they are celebrations that bring joy and a sense of
belonging to the homeless community, reminding them that they
are not forgotten and that they matter.
Food Drive
On the third Saturday of every month, from 1-4 PM, we host a
food drive at the premises of Abundant Life Center, distributing
groceries and foodstuffs to members of the community. This event
aims to support those in need by providing essential food items
and alleviating food insecurity in our area. Volunteers come
together to organize and distribute a variety of nutritious
foods, ensuring that everyone who attends leaves with enough to
sustain their households. The food drive not only addresses
immediate hunger but also nurtures a sense of community and
solidarity, as neighbors help neighbors in times of need.
Through this initiative, we strive to make a positive impact and
offer hope to those facing difficult circumstances.
Turkey Drive
Every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, we organize a
special Turkey Drive at the premises of Abundant Life Center,
dedicated to giving back to our community. This heartfelt event
aims to spread joy and alleviate financial burdens during the
holiday season by providing turkeys to families in need. From
morning until early afternoon, volunteers gather to distribute
these Thanksgiving staples, ensuring that every household can
enjoy a traditional holiday meal. The Turkey Drive not only
provides essential food assistance but also creates a warm and
inclusive atmosphere where neighbors come together in gratitude
and solidarity. Each turkey given represents more than just a
meal; it symbolizes care, support, and the spirit of giving that
defines our community. Through this annual tradition, we seek to
foster a sense of belonging and togetherness, reminding everyone

beyond.
International Students Dinner
To introduce international students to our local culture, we
host an annual International Student Dinner, a cherished event
that celebrates diversity and promotes cultural exchange. Held
in a welcoming atmosphere at the Enoch Center, this dinner
brings together students from around the world with community
members eager to share their traditions and cuisine. The evening
begins with a warm welcome and introductions, creating an
inclusive environment where friendships can flourish. A variety
of dishes representing different cultures are served, allowing
students to taste and experience flavors from various parts of
the globe. Through lively conversations and shared meals, both
students and community members engage in cultural exchange,
learning about each other's customs, languages, and values.
Beyond food, the event often features music, performances, or
presentations that further highlight the rich diversity within
our community. The International Student Dinner not only helps
newcomers feel at home but also fosters understanding and mutual
respect among all participants, promoting a more inclusive and
connected community.
Community Health Fair
We also believe in the importance of health and wellness for
all. That's why we organize an annual health fair where
community members can receive comprehensive medical tests,
including full blood work, vision testing, A1C, blood sugar, and
blood pressure screenings—all for free. Our health fair is made
possible through partnerships with top organizations like
Christiana Care, LabCorp, Sickle Cell Org, American Heart
Association, AmeriHealth, and Westside Health and much more. At
